Stabiliteitstraining gebeurt meestal door core-stability exercices, gebaseerd op de studies van Bergmark in 1987. Transdisciplinaire studie geeft uitgebreider informatie over dit complexe systeem. In dit artikel wordt ‘stabilisatie’ kort beschreven in al zijn facetten en wordt er een brede therapeutische toepassing voorgesteld.
