De somato-psychopedagogie, ontwikkeld uit het werk van professor Danis Bois, professor doctor in de pedagogische wetenschappen, en Fasciatherapie mDB is een begeleidingsmethode voor mensen met lichamelijk en psychisch ongemak, via een lichamelijke benadering die steunt op vier praktische instrumenten: manuele behandeling, sensoriële beweging, introspectie en het gesprek. De methode beschouwt de lichamelijke ervaring als een bron van leren en als hulpmiddel bij het oplossen van fysieke en psychische problemen die het welzijn belemmeren. De eigenheid van deze benadering ligt in het ontwikkelen van het waarnemingsvermogen, wat het bewustzijn en de aanpasbaarheid van de persoon vergroot in het dagdagelijks leven.
