    Fasciatherapie effectief bij chronische nekpijn.

    Dit artikel presenteert de resultaten van een klinisch onderzoek uitgevoerd door een Pakistaans team. (Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences, Riphah International University, Lahore, Pakistan).

    Het doel was om de effecten van fasciatherapie mDB (methode Danis Bois) en de fasciale manipulatie (Methode Stecco) te vergelijken op de verbetering van functionele mobiliteit en pijnvermindering bij patiënten met chronische nekpijn..

    De conclusies van het onderzoek zijn als volgt: Beide methoden verbeterden significant de functionele mobiliteitsparameters en pijnreductie, maar bij “fasciatherapie mDB verbeterde de cervicale extensie en laterale flexie (rechts) meer dan de fasciale manipulatie groep (methode Stecco).

    Er wordt geconcludeerd dat fasciatherapie mDB meer verbetering laat zien in vergelijking met de andere groepen.”
