    Het begrip ongemak of zich onwel voelen is vaag en wordt medisch- psychologisch vaak onvoldoende duidelijk afgebakend. Lichamelijke pijn, psychosomatische klachten, stress gerelateerde aandoeningen, angst of burn-out, depressieve gevoelens  en zelfs een laag zelfbeeld zijn allemaal mogelijke uitingen van dit onwel voelen. De somato-psychopedagogie, in haar zorgende dimensie, biedt waardevolle ondersteuning aan mensen die met deze klachten kampen, en helpt hen hun levenskwaliteit te verbeteren.

    Indicaties

    • Het lichamelijk ongemak verlichten om zo ook het psychisch ongemak te verzachten
    • Verschillende vormen van psychosomatische klachten verlichten door gelijktijdig op lichaam en geest in te werken
    • Positieve lichaamsbelevingen opwekken om motivatie, mentale kracht en veerkracht te versterken
    • Beter omgaan met stress, angstige gevoelens, vermoeidheid, burn-out of chronische pijn
    • Het zelfbeeld herstellen (zelfvertrouwen, eigenliefde)
    • De motivatie tot transformatie versterken door een zoektocht naar betekenis, met aandacht voor het existentiële en spirituele
