    La fasciathérapie efficace sur la cervicalgie chronique

    Cet article présente les résultats d’un essai clinique mené par une équipe pakistanaise (Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences, Riphah International University, Lahore, Pakistan).

    L’objectif était de comparer les effets de la fasciathérapie MDB (Méthode Danis Bois) et de la manipulation fasciale (Méthode Stecco) sur la mobilité, la fonction et la douleur de patients souffrant de cervicalgies chroniques.

    Les conclusions de l’étude sont les suivantes : Les deux méthodes ont amélioré de façon significative les paramètres de mobilité, la fonction et la douleur mais « La fasciathérapie MDB a amélioré l’extension cervicale et la flexion latérale (à droite) davantage que le groupe de manipulation fasciale. Il est conclu que la fasciathérapie DBM montre plus d’amélioration par rapport aux autres groupes. »
