Grondlegger van de Fasciatherapie methode Danis Bois
Werkte het concept “full presence” uit, dat zijn oorsprong vindt in de perceptieve psychopedagogie.
Oprichter van het “centre d’éducation et de recherche en psychopédagogie perceptive” (CERAP) (2002). In dit onderzoekscentrum wordt de invloed van de lichaamsbeleving en de lichaamservaring op het denken en het gedrag onderzocht.
Karakteristiek aan de methode is het belang van de sensoriek. Deze wordt benaderd vanuit vier invalshoeken: manuele technieken, sensomotorische oefeningen, lichaamsgerichte verbalisatie via een interview en de introspectie.
Dit alles heeft binnen de methode verder geleid naar onderzoek omtrent de expressie. Het gevoelige lichaam is zowel ons werktuig als onze basis voor de onbewuste en bewuste expressie.
Momenteel hoogleraar op rust, maar is vaak nog gastdocent aan de Universiteit Fernando Pessoa in het Departement Mens- en Sociale Wetenschappen
Als emeritus zet hij momenteel zijn werk verder in de Full Presence Meditation.
